Researching the Gribbon line, from County Down.

George Gribbon arrived in Sheffield in 1865, shortly after being discharged from the army, having served in the Crimean War.

I’m curious to discover if the Henry Gribben and James Gribben families in the 1871 Sheffield census are related, and if they are the reason that George chose to settle in Sheffield.

Any input would be very much appreciated, as ‘our George’ is something of an enigma, and the multiple variant spellings of the surname add to the confusion. 😳
