Hi I wondered if anyone can tell me how to search old news papers. I am not looking for anything in particular at moment its something I would like to be able to do Thanks Dave W

You can search old newspapers at http://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/

and also http://www.findmypast.co.uk, this site is available at Sheffield Archives and Local Studies.

There is a charge to view the actual article. They are also available at the local studies library on Surrey St.

Would it not be possible to have a tutorial on some of the ways to help find your family tree. I think there are more people like myself who just do the same thing every day because they don’t like asking for help. Thanks Dave W.
