Attending the recent Family Tree Maker demonstration, I realised just how little I know about family history research. I wondered if there would be any interest in the Society running a “Beginners’ Course” to set rank amateurs like myself on the right road and to introduce us to the obviously vast resources available via on-line data. I can, if required, arrange a venue to run such an event.
