I am researching the Hallewell Family tree, my ancestors came from Sheffield.
Joseph Hallewell was my paternal Grandfather, born 1853, married to Mary Ellen Hallewell, nee Mellor, born 1855. Joseph’s Father was William Hallewell from Ecclesall Bierlow was born in 1828
Joseph and Mary Ellen lived in and around the Shoreham St area, including Brittain St, Matilda St, South St, Pearl St, Granville St and Willow Lane.
Joseph and Mary had 13 children, 8 survived and 5 died
