Most of these names would be from West Riding area in the prior to the 1851 census. All the christenings were done in the Cathedral Church of St Peter and St Paul in Sheffield. The 1841 census places Joshua Hague Gillott in Handsworth West Riding. We are looking for his Parents, John Gillott and Ann Hague who were married 3 February 1794 in St Peter and St Paul Cathedral.
This is our families connection to Yorkshire as Joshua Hague immigrated to America in November of 1849 to join other members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Any help or hints for our research would be helpful and greatly appreciated.
