Our membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December. You can renew your membership by paying your annual subscription before 1st January each year. We are happy to receive renewal payments from 1st October onwards. Full details of the renewal process are printed in the Winter edition of the Flowing Stream. Why not renew when you get the journal to avoid having to remember later?
Annual membership subscriptions
- £10 for UK individual membership
- £12 for UK joint membership (two people living at the same address)
- £12 for non-UK membership
How to pay
There are four options to pay your membership subscription:
- Credit/debit card online at GenFair or Parish Chest. Follow the link and choose the membership you require. If you don’t have one already, you will need to create a GenFair or Parish Chest account. A charge of £1.50 (admin) is added to payments made this way.
- Bank transfer You need to complete the application form Post it or scan and email it to the Membership Secretary The Society bank details will be emailed to you on receipt of the form. Alternatively, our bank details are printed in our journal, but you must quote your name and your membership number in your bank transfer reference.
- Standing Order If you have an existing Standing Order, please check your name and your membership number are given on your SO reference. If you wish to start paying annually by Standing Order, you will need to complete the application form Post it or scan and email it to the Membership Secretary The Society Standing Order form will be emailed to you on receipt of the application form. Alternatively, set up a Standing Order with your bank using the Standing Order form printed in the Winter journal or set up a SO directly with your bank. You must quote your name and your membership number in your SO reference.
- Cheque (UK membership only and we would prefer one of the other three options) You will need to complete the renewal form in the Winter edition of the journal or download and print out the application form and post it with your cheque to the Membership Secretary.
We don’t want to lose you so if you have not renewed by 31st January and we have an email address for you, we will send you a reminder in case you have forgotten. If we have not received your payment by 28th February, your membership will lapse. You will no longer receive copies of the journal or have access to the members only areas of the website.
Remember to keep us up to date
Please don’t forget to tell us if you change your name or your email or postal address. Any queries about subscriptions or receipt of the Flowing Stream should be sent to the Membership Secretary. Please quote your name and membership number in any correspondence with the Society.
